This is a brand new case of 0.45 micron pore size filters. Note there is a Use Before Date on the box which is given as February 28, 2018. These are Cellulose Nitrate Membranes and I have used these to successfully filter river water in a environmental DNA study as within the last year. Since you obviously won’t be using these in a production environment I don’t think the Use Before Date should present any problems but I wanted to provide full disclosure about that particular detail.
