100pcs Dental Aesthetic Coated Ligature Wire .012" Orthodontics Coated wires are specially made aesthetic solutions for the adult population when metal brackets and wires are not acceptable because of their appearance. Coated wires provide a solution for all types of treatments, just like any other arches, and yet give the patient an aesthetic and beautiful look. The preformed design allows quick placement onto the bracket when a 30° bend is made at the end of the first loop. Steel ligatures are used when a positive seat is needed to deflect the archwire into the bracket slot. Aesthetic Coated Preformed Ligature Wire is used to secure the archwire in the bracket slot. Using a Coated Ligature Wire with ceramic/composite braces provides the best possible aesthetic result - while elastic transparent ligatures suffer from fading and color loss (yellowish blend) due to intraoral acids after just a couple of weeks.
